In the world of Development and Construction, occasionally we come across visionaries that change everything we know and sometimes even change the world and how we experience it.

This is what Red Sea Global is currently working on and one of our favorite projects currently in the works. Phase 1 is to be completed by the end the of 2023, which will include 1 International airport and 3 Luxury Hotels, but by now you’re wondering what project this is and what is going on, let’s get into it.

Red Sea Global is one the world’s most visionary developers, wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia and are responsible for two of world leading tourist destinations known as “The Red Sea” and “Amaala” that are expected to be completed by 2030.

Red Sea Global is Leading by setting a new way of doing business for the tourism sector around the globe and their focus is putting people and planet first while leveraging the most innovative concepts and technologies to deliver projects that enhance the well-being of all, including communities and environments.

The Red Sea Project is a tourist destination introducing the world to a brand-new luxury experience along the west coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s last true hidden treasures; The Red Sea is surrounded by the world’s fourth largest barrier reef system and spans over 28,000 square kilometers with dormant volcanos, sweeping desert dunes, mountain canyons, and historical and cultural sites.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is opening its doors allowing the world to experience this hidden treasure of earth’s natural beauty.

With over 90 islands, 75% of which will remain untouched, 22 islands to be developed to what will be known as The Red Sea and Amaala Island. There is so much going on in this development we cannot express how magnificent this vision really is, but we can touch base on some of the highlights:

Visitors will enjoy highest levels of quality and service and unparalleled experience and activities such as parachuting, trekking, rock climbing, tennis, football, and diving, the Red Sea is famous for being one of the world’s best diving sites.

This project will be governed by laws on a par with international standards therefore visas won’t be required for most nationalities. To protect the ecosystem and preserve the area’s natural habitat, the Red Sea Project will adopt best practice conservation efforts and limit the number of yearly visitors to the resort.

Phase 1 is expected to be completed by end of 2023 which will include One International hotel and 3 Luxury Hotels. About 1000 Visitors will be welcomed upon opening and by 2030 when the entire project is complete, they anticipate one million tourists and visitors per year, The number of visitors is limited per year to protect the ecosystem and preserve the area’s natural habitat.

One of our favourite part of this project is the International Airport that is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. Red Sea Airport, it will be managed by Daa International. Red Sea International will set new standards in sustainable aviation, Not only is the airport sustainably designed but it aesthetically takes inspiration from the forms of the surrounding dessert, the green oasis and the sea.

This is one project we have been paying attention and are looking forward to its completion.
